So, here is my first attempt at a blog post, just to see if it's working and learn how to do it properly.
Starting your first ever blog with "so" is not a good start gramatically
The purpose of this blog is just going to be to share whatever I'm thinking about and what I'm thinking about is usually lists of my favourite things and how everything ranks in my all-time favourites. I am lowkey obsessed with lists actually...
I've been a huge Studio Ghibli fan for about 20 years now and for quite a few years I've been meaning to rewatch every movie in order and review and rank them. I've seen some of them literally hundreds of times but some I have only seen once or twice, and I think it would be cool to watch them in the context of chronological order too. So I may start with that as my first proper blog series.
Anwyway this was only a test. I will now publish this and hopefully it'll work!
I'm gonna pop an image in here too just to see if it works. Lets go with a sparkly space dolphin.

Update: It worked! I had to change the code to change the date to the UK format though now its all good. Even the dolphin is sparkling in all its janky 90s glory <3
