This is a collection of cool websites I have found on both the old web and the indieweb! All of these bring me massive joy and I hope you think they're as cool as I do!
Click on the name of each site to travel there.
Genuine old websites I have found from plumbing the Geocities archives!
Ascii by Lorrie
A wonderful collection of Ascii art by a lady named Lorrie, last updated in 2008. This one almost brings a tear to my eye every time I visit. Long live Lorrie and her lovely ASCII art!
Hotdog Man's Page-O-Dum
A website made by a kid called Jared and which is a fantatic time capsule and a perfect example of what geocities used to be about. Go to the "buddies" page and read the descriptions of his friends. Beautiful stuff.
Frogland!
A website all about frogs which celebrated it's 10 year anniversary in 2005! Still complete and hosted on it's original URL - A genuine internet time capsule (and very entertaining, who doesn't love frogs?!
Inspiring and entertaining websites from fellow indieweb creators (all much, much better than mine!
Lets Find Pokemon Found!
A retro-style website dedicated to the "Let's Find Pokemon!" books. I love how nostalic this feels. I used to love Pokemon websites in the late 90s/early 00s and this site is a huge nostalgia bomb!
