Welcome to Tom's Pad!Bringing my thoughts and random gif collections back to the internet. I know this website looks janky AF - that's because its supposed to! I wanted to recreate a space on the internet like it was the geocities glory days of the 1990s. That means HTML and CSS only and it means sticking to old-school design elements such as HTML frames, sidebars, banners etc... and no modern page layouts! As such, this website may not work well on mobile or in all browsers, although I've done my best to make sure it will. And if it hurts your eyes a bit... sorry, thats just how it was and how it is!There is more information about the purpose of this site in the "About Me" page, but its really just for fun and nostalgia. That said, I do intend to start blogging to clear some of the nonsense out of my head and seeing as I have this site I may as well host it here! That will also be made and maintained in the spirit of the indie web. Fuck the corpo scum! Long live the indie web! |
